My Story
How a little girl in a pretty dress finally knelt in the dirt — and everything changed.
The Root of the Journey
I didn’t start Roots To Rise because I had all the answers. I started it because I was out of options. For years, I navigated the corporate world, the family needs, and the societal pressures that tell us to 'just keep going.' My body was speaking to me in the language of inflammation, fatigue, and burnout, but I wasn't listening. I was doing what I was taught to do: survive.
“They told us it was in our DNA. Nobody told us our food was doing it.”
A Discovery in the Dirt
The shift happened when I stopped looking for healing in a bottle and started looking in the earth. I began reconnecting with the ancestral wisdom of my Nana and the women who came before me—women who knew how to use the garden as a pharmacy and the kitchen as a sanctuary. I realized that my struggle wasn't just personal; it was institutional. We were being fed a lifestyle that was designed to deplete us.
“Returning to the soil, I embraced the sacred lessons she planted long ago, finding power in the humble act of being.”

The Rise into Wholeness
Today, Roots To Rise stands as a testament to that knealt-in-the-dirt moment. It is more than just wellness consulting; it is a collective reclamation of our health, our history, and our future. I work with women who are ready to stop just surviving and start rising. We use herbal education, mindful movement, and radical self-care to rebuild from the roots up. Your healing isn't a destination; it's the very foundation of the life you were meant to lead.
